Short / Details: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India have released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2025 for recruitment to various Level-1 posts (Group D) in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. A total of 21997 vacancies are notified across different railway zones. Eligible candidates can apply online from 31 January 2026 to 02 March 2026 through the official RRB portals.

Educational qualification
Various Level-1 posts (Group D) in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. 21997
  • Class 10th/Matriculation (High School) from any recognized board. Or ITI certificate.
  • Physical Fitness Requirements:
  • Male: Must lift and carry a 35 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes and run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. (Only one attempt)
  • Female: Must lift and carry a 20 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes and run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. (Only one attempt)

  • Click on CEN 09/2025 – Level 1 Recruitment 2026 link.
  • Complete new registration using mobile number and email ID.
  • Fill the application form, upload photo & signature, and pay the fee.
  • Submit the form and download the application printout for future use.

Important Instructions
  • Applications must be submitted online only through official RRB websites.
  • Candidates can apply to only one Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
